Santa Maria al Bagno used to be a small fishing village, and is now delightful small coastal town with a small but very useable beach. It has a lovely village community feel with shops and restaurants right by the beach where families sit out and eat/drink and watch the world go by. Just 1km up the road is the neighouring coastal town of Santa Caterina with its lovely marina and abundance of restarants/bars.
